Meet Dr. Spinks
Devin Spinks, DDS
At just 15 years old, Dr. Devin Spinks experienced a severe toothache that changed the course of his life. After his dentist performed a root canal and relieved his pain almost instantly, he was amazed by the difference one procedure could make. That experience inspired him to become a dentist. Today, more than 17 years into his career, one of his greatest joys is helping patients get out of pain and feel better.
Healthcare was always a part of Dr. Spinks’ life. He grew up in Pearland, Texas, where his father practiced family medicine in nearby Pasadena, giving him an early appreciation for caring for others. While he always knew he wanted a career in healthcare, dentistry was the perfect fit because it combined science, problem-solving, and the opportunity to work with his hands while making an immediate difference in people’s lives.
Dr. Spinks graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2005. He then attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2009 and finished among the top 15% of his class.
Since beginning his career in 2009, Dr. Spinks has cared for thousands of patients and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. He is a certified provider of Invisalign® clear aligners and Lumineers® and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. His philosophy is simple: treat every patient with compassion, kindness, and gentle care while helping them achieve a healthy smile they can enjoy for years to come.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Spinks enjoys spending time with his three children—Jacksyn, Eva, and Stella. You’ll often find him cheering on Jacksyn at high school baseball games, making memories with his daughters, watching Texas A&M football and Houston sports, or relaxing with hobbies like gardening and hunting.
