Meet Dr. Shayla Lackey

Dr. Lackey is a compassionate and highly skilled general dentist who is deeply committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Clark Atlanta University in Georgia before going on to achieve her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C., where she graduated in the top 20% of her class.

To further expand her expertise, Dr. Lackey completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. This rigorous training has equipped her to handle a diverse range of dental needs, ensuring that every patient feels both comfortable and confident in their care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lackey has a passion for travel, fitness, volunteering, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. A firm believer in giving back, she takes great pride in making a positive impact on her community. With a genuine love for her work, Dr. Lackey is excited to continue serving her patients with warmth, precision, and a dedication to enhancing both their smiles and overall well-being.
